Payment Options for Current Residents

Standard and Free Online Payment Options


(Free ACH Bank Draft)

Merritt Island Village offers an online payment portal through RentCafe.com. The E-Check (Aka Bank Draft/ACH/EFT) Option is a new Free option for Residents. Our on-site office will continue to accept standard payments by regular paper check or money order.


If you are using the online system we highly recommend setting up as a repeating monthly ACH bank draft for maximum convenience. (Make sure to select EFT Bank Draft--Not debit card). The online Payment Portal is optional. If you do not want to use the portal, you may continue paying by paper check or money order and will continue to receive a paper statement just like normal.





Other Alternative Online Payment Options



We recommend that our residents pay by one of the standard or free options above. However, as an alternative payment method, Rentcafe allows residents to pay by credit card or debit card, subject to the convenience fees charged by Rentcafe, the 3rd party provider. Please don’t use credit/debit card option, as the third party provider charges fees. (They collect and keep those fees, unrelated to us). We want you to get the free option, so please use ACH bank draft if you pay online.





The Easiest Way to Sign-Up for the Resident Portal


  1. Send us an e-mail at info@myislandvillage.com and let us know which e-mail address you want associated with your account.
  2. In the e-mail, ask us to send you the Sign-Up Link
  3. We will reply and let you know we have initiated the sign-up link.
  4. Look for the e-mail signup link from Rentcafe in your inbox and then follow the link to sign-up. Make sure to look in your spam folder if you don't see it.




The Other Way to Sign-Up


  1. Send the e-mail address you want associated with your account to us at info@myislandvillage.com. We will add your e-mail address so that you will be able to sign-up.
  2. Go to MyIslandVillage.com and click "Resident Payments"
  3. Click on the Rentcafe Portal link and you will be directed to the Portal login page at Rentcafe.com.
  4. Click on the "Click here to register" link
  5. Type our zip code "32952" into the "Search For Your Property" box and then find your address on the list. (TIP: USE THE ZIP CODE 32952 AND LOOK THROUGH THE LIST)
  6. Enter Your Name, E-mail and Password and Click Register



(We have some e-mail addresses on-file, but if you are unable to sign-up, please send an e-mail to info@myislandvillage.com with the e-mail address you wish to associate with your account). We will have RentCafe send you the sign-up link.





The Rentcafe portal sometimes takes a moment to populate your account information so please be patient for your account details to load. Please note that your user login information is maintained by the 3rd party RentCafe Provider, not by Merritt Island Village. Leasing questions should come to us, login may be reset by the user by clicking "Forgot password".



E-mail us if you have questions about signing up for the portal. However, the portal payments are directed by you the user. If you have any trouble, you are always welcome to pay the by check the regular way. Thanks!
